TWIN COL CHALLENGE
As featured in the 2009 Tour de France route on July 12th our Allons-y Pyrenees challenge tests the legs on two of the most famous cols in the
Pyrenees, the Col d'Aspin and the mighty Col du Tourmalet.
We are running a bit of a
cycling challenge /competition for our guests to see who can complete the ALLONS-Y
PYRENEES CHALLENGE in the quickest time on a bike!
We will log all times
throughout the year and then at the end of the year announce the best time.
We are offering a free week's
holiday for the winner!

The Challenge!
The clock starts ticking at the base of the
climb up the Col d’Aspin from Arreau side, approx a 13k climb to the top and
then the same amount in descent down into St Marie de Campan where you will turn
up to start your ascent up the famous Col de Tourmalet, passing through the ski
resort of La Mongie - a leg burning 18k of climbing.
The clock stops as you pass over the top of the
Tourmalet with its famous giant cyclist.
